Okay. More practice, and getting better at this studio thing. Had the good fortune to have a trio of willing models to work with the weekend before last, and while it was a chaotic, crazy time for all of us, I certainly learned a lot and got a few good shots out of it. Many thanks to the three of you!

After a long hiatus, I've broken out the camera gear and started shooting again!
Many moons back, I indicated that I'd like to begin doing human subjects in a studio setting. I'd picked up a backdrop stand, seamless paper, studio strobes, the works -- but hadn't really broken it in until now.
Touch-Me-Not here marks our inaugural voyage, making a debut both as my first public subject as well as sporting her brand-new haircolour! A fair bit of set-up, a dozen or so test-shots to get the lighting set, and then half a dozen more on full "RAW" quality to nail this one (followed by a few hours of TMN screaming "I'm BORED!" as I clicked away on the computer doing the post-process. So patient, that one... I think my 10D might have a slight focus problem, but that's nobody's worry but mine.
Anyway, enjoy, and hopefully more to come! (Shot appears w/ permission from the model. Thanks again, TMN!)
